The Macedon Ranges Shire includes 9 main towns all within 15 minutes drive of each other, with thousands of community sport participants every week. Yet independent research ranks Macedon Range Shire #46 out of #48 non-metropolitan shires in Victoria for court access. This appaling infrastructure backlog is the primary constraint on community sports pariticipation in the region. A cleverly designed multi-use regional stadium to serve multiple sports & community groups region-wide is the answer.
